Hawaii Backpack. Package DOES NOT Include: Airfare to Honolulu,

Polynesian Cultural Center ticket and Kauai Tour Ticket, Bus Driver

for Exhibition performances

• Free Day - Relax and enjoy the beach or treat yourself to an
adventure. Take advantage of the Sheraton’s Tour and Excursion Desk to
plan a day that fits your likes. Swim with the dolphins in a Sheraton
exclusive tour, visit Pearl Harbor, snorkel at Hanauma Bay, take a
catamaran ride, rent mopeds, take a dinner cruise.. or just be a beach
bum! (individual tours not included in package)

Center for Exhibition performances (you can choose a trip package with
or without this optional tour, group rates have been arranged)
• Visit the PCC’s seven villages and meet, learn about and interact with
the people of Hawaii, Samoa, Maori New Zealand (Aotearoa), Fiji, Tahiti,
the Marquesas and Tonga, plus watch Hawaii’s only canoe pageant

• You and your group can perform at the new performance plaza at the
Royal Hawaiian Shopping center
• Enjoy the Royal Hawaiian’s more than 100 shops and restaurants,
including Hilo Hattie’s - the one stop for all of your souveniers and
Hawaii items

Thu. July 24, 2008
• Competition Day... enter your group or dance a solo or duo in a full
day of competitions in both clogging and studio dance. If you are not a
competitor enjoy free spectating of all of the day’s activities
• All Expo participants will gather for a full Hawaiian Luau Buffet with
a full selection of Hawaiian and traditional fare, salads, entrees and
desserts, followed by one of the top professional Hawaiian shows on the
island
• Exhibition and competition teams will be recognized and awards given,
plus state groups and traveling groups will be recognized
Fri. July 25, 2008
• Departure Day from Honolulu. Oaho only Expo participants head home
today, and those extending to Kauai head to the airport for transfers.

Relax after a week of performances and competition and enjoy paradise
Sat. July 26, 2008
• Air-conditioned motorcoaches will pick you up at the resort for a full
morning and afternoon tour of the island, including a visit to the
“Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” Waimea Canyon. Ten miles long and over a
half mile deep, it’s a truly breathtaking “must-see” for any Kauai
visitor. You’ll then take a boat trip up the Wailua River to mystical
Fern Grotto, said to be the most romantic place in Hawaii. Also on the
agenda is a 40-foot waterfall photo opportunity. Opaekaa Falls will be
flowing in all of its majesty, with Makaleha Mountains and a restored
Hawaiian village posing in the background. Spectacular lookouts,
blowholes, sacred sites and historical landmarks are also part of the
tour, so be prepared to be amazed.
